2/9/2024 0 Comments Sims 3 urban cc folderI have a desktop folder called sims 3 archive and I go in there to grab things whenever I want certain custom content, it is also organized. All of this (stuff that isnt being used) is kept outside the sims 3 folder. These can also include cas, buy, and build items I dont want to have in my game permanently (these each have their own folder and I put them in and take them out depending on which save I want to play) Since I tend to play culturally/lifestyle, I have Japanese, French, Chinese cc as well as urban, rustic, contemporary cc. by type, CAS, Buy, or build (these are typically permanent and I keep them inside the packages folder) packaging things is a lifesaver once you know what you can and cant/should and should not package. Tbh its as you said earlier which is that you started off organizing ccįirst off I only play the sims 3, and I used to play on slow laptops, so I've been whipped as far as playing organized and clean goes, What is the best way to sort an already existing disaster zone of CC, with minimal effort? (excluding deleting and starting from scratch, which I really don't want to do, because I know some of this stuff was really hard to track down the first time) Not being as active in the community as I used to means that I really don't know what tools and tutorials are out there, and I don't really know how to find them, or what is broken/outdated, or what has worked well for lots of people, or anything. And having this mess to deal with is keeping me from actually playing the game, because I feel like I should sort this out first. There are so many potential landmines in here. I may have downloaded conflicting CC without realising it. As I have also played and downloaded CC for TSM, TS2, and TS4, I can't be certain that none of those files haven't gotten mixed up in the mess. Some of it may be duplicates of stuff that's already installed, some of it may be duplicates of other uninstalled CC. Also, my ADHD made it hard to tackle the growing problem cause I just kept losing focus very quickly whenever I started trying to sort through files.Īnd so now I have an INSANE amount of unsorted and unlabelled CC that I need to install. There are things that contributed to this, such as playing less often but still browsing CC sites frequently, leading to me having to install larger amounts of CC at a time, and some medical stuff that really seriously sapped my energy for a long time, which caused a lot of disorganisation in all parts of my life. When I started playing TS3, I had for the most part learned from my TS2 mistakes and took more care to label and organise my TS3 CC. Sooooooooo long story short, I screwed up and I'm hoping that someone out there knows how to help me fix my screw-up with minimal pain. Tutorials/Methods/Advice for organising CC?
